Wooden tube 16x150mm, ideal for woody species
This wooden tube, Made in France, has been specially developed for small to medium-sized species that like to live in wood: Temnothorax, Leptothorax, Camponotus truncatus / Colobopsis truncata, certain exotic species, etc. It is handcrafted from dense, high-quality wood.
It does not include a humidification system for these species, which are accustomed to living in the woods. However, we recommend placing a second humidifying tube in parallel or a source of humidity in a poorly ventilated hunting area to provide slightly humid air and a water dish, as found in the undergrowth and trees that these species prefer. Indeed, our homes are drier than their natural habitat.
It is not recommended and unnecessary to directly moisten the wood.
A perforated washer at the end of the tube helps to reduce stress thanks to an opening of a few millimeters.
Ideally complemented with a hunting area for a 16mm tube.
