Description

Since paraffin oil is unpleasant for ants, simply apply it under a frame overhanging the feeding area to prevent them from leaving. You can also create your own feeding areas using a plastic container with the lid cut out in the center.

Note: Our Observation Spaces are already equipped with an effective lifelong anti-escape treatment and no additional treatment should be applied on top of the first.

Vegetable oils and some mineral oils are not recommended because their odors can disturb ants. Paraffin oil is clearly the most suitable and has been extensively tested and appreciated for its properties. It is transparent and barely visible through the escape-proof frame.

Instructions for use:

– Apply using the applicator under a frame covering the feeding area, possibly vertically, in a very thin layer. The width of the frame should be approximately three times the length of the ants.
– Renew every 2 to 4 months depending on the colony's activity.
– The oil must remain clean and dust-free to maintain its effectiveness.
