Live plant for semi-closed terrarium

Carnivorous plant native to the USA and cultivated in France. Caution: the traps can be triggered by ants. Use only when there are no ants present, or with a very small species.

Appreciates humidity, warmth and light, ideal in a small greenhouse or well-exposed terrarium (beware of overheating due to the sun on closed or semi-closed terrariums).

Serving suggestion, jar not included:

Contains a Xaxim (bark) pot naturally colonized with small mosses and plants.

Keep the bottom of the pot constantly soaked in demineralized or rainwater.

Information regarding delivery time and origin: 

We source our plants from a greenhouse in Alsace renowned for its Tillandsia and carnivorous plants.

The estimated delivery time is usually 48 hours (transport) + 1 week (plant drop-off at the logistics center), sometimes 48 hours (transport) + 2 weeks (restocking at the greenhouse + drop-off at the logistics center). Depending on availability, we may occasionally deliver a slightly different variety. Thank you for your patience in order to receive the most beautiful plants 🙂

Care instructions:

• Watering

Keep soaked in demineralized or rainwater. Prefers humidity, ideal for semi-enclosed terrariums, but beware of the greenhouse effect.

• Temperature

Prefers warm temperatures. Gives full sun in summer. Place the plant in a cool spot in winter.

• Brightness

Avoid direct sunlight in summer if the plant is in a terrarium. A well-lit location is preferable. Otherwise, sunlight is acceptable.
