Description: The Digfix burrowable material is perfectly suited to our ANTCUBE ant farms. It can be used both dry and wet. It is also suitable for many ant species, including those that nest in sand and (dead) wood. It can be used instead of sand-clay mixtures or cork nest inserts. A major advantage over cork nests is that Digfix does not mold, even when wet. This means that ant species with high humidity requirements can be supplied with water without any problems. Digfix also has the advantage that burrowing ant species do not soil the nest windows with dirt while digging, allowing for a clear view inside the nest.
Note: The natural color may vary between green/grey-brown and earthy brown. This variation does not affect the quality.
Due to the manufacturing process, dimensions may vary by +/- 1 mm.
