Dried or rehydrated, these mole crickets (burrowing crickets) can supplement the diet of various ant species. It's a simple and practical way to offer your ants protein-rich insects. Soak them for about 30 minutes or more, then dry them with a paper towel before feeding. Ideal for carnivorous species like Pheidole, Aphaenogaster, Tetramorium, etc., although they are particularly appreciated dry by Messor ants. Every colony is unique, so don't hesitate to experiment!
