Description

Ideal for educational experiments. This sugary solution can be given directly to ants that enjoy sweet liquids: Lasius, Camponotus, Formica, Tapinoma, Plagiolepis, etc. The color will be particularly visible on yellow ants (Lasius flavus) but clearly visible on all the species listed below once they have eaten this colored food. Not suitable for Messor ants.

Natural green food coloring is a commonly used food coloring, and has also been tested for ants.
