This pack contains a white 2nd generation Medium ant farm with a colony of Iridomyrmex purpureus that has completely colonized it.

Exceptional and turnkey breeding! Suitable for beginners in exotic ants.

(the ant farm is therefore second-hand and the colony has already been installed for more than a year to avoid any relocation).

An opportunity to enjoy this exotic species native to Australia, very beautiful and original with its black and red coloration with metallic blue reflections!

The population covers the entire surface of the Medium anthill and the ants will be numerous enough to consume a good number of fresh insects (crickets to freeze…) and liquid foods (milk + honey, milk + sweetened protein powder, jellies…).

Each colony is then individually inspected to confirm the absence of parasites and the presence of brood.

Fourmiculture is also an establishment recognized by the French veterinary services, in possession of a certificate of competence for the breeding and sale of ants, validated by myrmecologists, civil and environmental protection services (decision No. 2016195-0002 of the Departmental Directorate for the Protection of Populations).

Each colony is labeled, bears a batch number, and has been professionally tracked from queen collection to delivery.

As a private individual, breeding this species does not require any authorization as it is neither protected, nor threatened, nor invasive, nor dangerous. However, we remind you that the law prohibits releasing a non-native species and offer to take back your colonies.
