This expandable Weaver Ant Kit for various species, such as Polyrhachis spec. or Oecophylla spec., also includes the necessary equipment for raising these ants.
It is suitable for colonies of up to approximately 500 individuals. For larger colonies, we recommend a 30x30x60cm ant enclosure.
Important: Please moisten the substrate before use so that the mixture can combine and settle firmly in the anthill. Furthermore, a substrate that is too dry and dusty can obstruct the ants' airways and, in the worst-case scenario, suffocate them.
Shipping Note: We receive glass hunting areas on pallets from the manufacturer to prevent breakage, and then repackage them if necessary to ensure safer transport to your address. Orders for "in-stock" items are generally shipped within 48 hours via your chosen carrier. Larger models are recommended for delivery by Mazet on a pallet. Note on production:
The glass is cut according to DIN 1249 with a tolerance of +/- 1 mm. For extremely small ant species, additional protection against ant escape is essential.
