40-hour ant heater

Description

The Heatpaxx brand ant heater is made in Germany from natural materials (iron powder, water, vermiculite…) to protect your ants from the cold during transport.

Using the ant heater:

Universal ant heater for 40 hours of protection against the cold.

Simply remove the HeatPack from its packaging, let it work briefly in a frost-free environment at room temperature (you can knead it to speed up the start-up) and place it in a suitable transport box.

Attention :

• Plan to insulate the animals from the ant heater with several layers of bubble wrap to prevent overheating.
• Place the heater near the animals thus isolated.
• Place everything in an insulated polystyrene box or roll the animal set + heater in a thicker layer of bubble wrap to keep the heat in.

Note:

• Protection against the cold decreases over the course of the hours
• Protection depends on the quality of the packaging, the outside temperature, and the sensitivity of the animals.
• We observed a temperature increase of approximately 5°C inside the package after 48 hours. For example: -4°C outside, +1°C inside. However, some species cannot tolerate such low temperatures.
• No guarantee can be given that the animals will arrive alive despite the use of our heater; transport is entirely at your own risk. Please ensure the safest possible transport conditions for the live animals.
• For maximum performance, use two heaters side by side.
• Sold in sets of 4.
• Dispose of with household waste after use.
