More than an external hunting area, an Observation Space makes it possible to better discover the behavior of ants outside its anthill, thus offering a new dimension to their breeding without risk of escape.

Open to the outside, this hunting area connects to your Artificial Anthill through its two 9mm holes and recreates the natural environment encountered by ants on the surface. The hunting area allows them to collect their food and evacuate their waste more easily, with all the security provided by our innovations.

Zero escape.
Guaranteed for life. In order to guarantee that no ant will ever leave Space despite its opening to the outside, a definitive non-stick coating, probably the smoothest ever created in the industry, is carried out under the satin Plexiglas frame covering the 'Space. It is thus protected from dirt and moisture to last a lifetime. And for full access to the tray, the frame is completely removable.

This hard-wearing coating will never need to be replaced and is 100% effective on all species.
Even the smallest slide instantly. They are also preserved from common but sometimes risky techniques if misused such as oil or chemicals. It is therefore natural that we offer a lifetime warranty and will take charge of its renewal if the slightest problem occurs, even in the event of misuse by the user (only the port is the responsibility of the customer).
In France and Switzerland, ant study laboratories have been familiar with this ultra-slippery coating for decades because they cannot afford to let specimens escape.
This is also the case for the largest Insectarium in America: the Montreal Insectarium. But this total confidence is obtained at the cost of special materials that must be designed for this from the outset. This is the whole reason for the Observation Spaces, designed by Fourmiculture to accommodate this technology. Using a lid or a mesh becomes totally unnecessary and allows easy access to the tank without risking workers leaking when opening.

For each Observation Space, a unique decor is composed by hand with materials such as moss, stones and bark.
It is made according to our artistic inspiration from neutral and natural materials that we incorporate into our molding. The base material is very hard and reminiscent of ceramics. Freely interchangeable, our decorations can be removed and exchanged in a few seconds in order to vary the environment of your ants or find the beauty of the new.
In the future, new scenery will always be available online to accompany the evolution of your colony and offer it a different world. In order for your ants to set off in large numbers to conquer their new space and show sustained activity, it is possible to heat the decor to 27°C with a heating mat or a lamp (monitor the temperature carefully with a thermometer).
The Observation Space is ideal for cleaning: tray washable with water or alcohol, decoration easy to remove to be brushed or replaced and anti-fingerprint frame (do not touch the treated part).

Imagine your Observation Spaces full of life with many workers active in their exploration.
They need an original perspective. The Observation Spaces can be superimposed (with a custom decor that does not include too high elements), connected to each other in the desired direction thanks to the original holes or made to measure, and arranged in your own way for an installation unique allowing infinite observations. It's up to you to be creative!

A meticulous realization.

When we started designing this product, we thought everything would be simple. In reality, everything had to be started from scratch several times to overcome assembly constraints and eliminate weak points without compromising on aesthetics and practicality. After 13 months of work, design and testing, the arrival of this new generation of feeding area allows us to present our know-how with a product with a remarkable finish. The final assembly is carried out with a tolerance of 2 tenths of a millimeter.

Our frame is made of satin white Plexiglas identical to our Anthills in order to match it perfectly and complete your installation. In addition, the frame is simply recessed into the top of the bin, allowing it to be removed at will.
