An hunting ground for leafcutter ants to complement a mushroom farm.

This feeding area is designed to enhance the observation of ants, especially leafcutter ants, with total safety of use and a minimalist design hiding advanced features.

The Island Arena feeding area is named for its use when placed in 3 to 4 cm of water, ensuring complete security against escapes. It has no connecting holes: thanks to its 15x15 cm square platform, it can simply be placed against the platform of another module to create a complete system adapted to the needs of ants.

Affordable yet intelligently designed and finished to a high standard, our hunting ground is made of PMMA (acrylic), not crystal polystyrene, for maximum quality. The cylindrical shape provides an attractive display for foliage and flowers, while its base prevents moisture absorption and foliage rot.

The sandblasted concrete finish provides a consistent look with the mushroom module but does not absorb moisture like it does, and is therefore suitable for feeding ants.
