Refillable tube – 18x180mm Model 848, reusable and Made in France in thick, quality glass. Many improvements make it possible to raise a small or medium borer colony over the long term with a better success rate than conventional tubes.

Huge advantage : compared to the plaster tube made in China, it has an autonomy of several weeks or months because it contains liquid water and not wet sand! And refillable afterwards with a special syringe. No risk of losing the colony by forgetting.

Durable composite cap: discourages the majority of female drill workers. Sufficient to avoid digging in the majority of cases and in particular for medium-sized colonies. For 100% resistance to the most aggressive and numerous species, an “over-armored” option exists with an integrated stainless steel grid.

Anti-mold and anti-mite treatment: an exclusive treatment has a repellent effect on parasitic mites and fights against mold to keep your colony healthy and protected from pests. The treatment applied here is less intensive than that of the high-end models with laser signature.

Intermediate humidity: this comes from a cement stopper absorbs and diffuses into the air of the tube. It is suitable for large species (Messor, Camponotus, etc.).

Manual :

1. Fill with water using a 0.33mm needle available in pharmacies or the special syringe on our site.
2. Close the filling hole with Crystal Scotch.
3. Install the queen or the colony in the tube with water reserve. Connect the tube to a hunting area and leave the end ajar for good ventilation.
4. Change the tape every 15 days to make a call for air and allow the cement slab to absorb the water from the reserve.

Attention :

• Thoroughly dry the glass to set the adhesive, and only use the Scotch Crystal reference for its long-lasting quality.
• Do not heat the tube at the cement or water level, heat at the ant side.
