Description
A very pretty colony with slow but constant activity, ideal to observe with a magnifying glass, USB microscope or macro mode on your phone to discover its constant activity.
Very easy to raise, likes sweet liquids, small insects and small solid foods as a supplement.
While it appreciates a certain level of humidity due to its tropical rainforest origins, it can be kept in small nests with gradual humidification until it is housed in the most suitable chambers. Rather peaceful, it is ideal for a tropical ecosystem terrarium. Cohabitation with other peaceful species is also possible.
Main features:
- Worker size: 3 to 4 mm.
- Diet: Sugary liquids, some dead insects and solid food.
- Difficulty level: Easy.
Recommended living conditions:
- Temperature: 22 to 26°C.
- Humidity: High in the nest area, with a drier area to prevent mold.
