Indeed, Antbrosia ant nectar contains electrolytes to make this food attractive. It is of a higher quality than simple sugar water. Formulated especially for ants that love sweet liquids like Lasius, Camponotus, Formica, etc. It can also be suitable for Pheidole, Tetramorium, certain Messor, primitive species like Ponera etc.
