Storage at the Anthill:
All our products are stored in a warehouse in France, organized like a highly optimized ant colony. The products are identified and recorded in a state-of-the-art computer system (also used by Fnac) and stored in cells chosen according to their dimensions. The online store is then always up-to-date with the actual stock available. The warehouse is closed to the public and under video surveillance. The ants are kept at our breeding laboratory in Grenoble, and the stock is regularly updated.
Worldwide shipping time:
- Item in stock: shipped within 24 hours
- Ants : carefully prepared, fed, packaged and shipped within 2 to 9 days (urgent need? Contact us)
- "Made-to-order" material : must be manufactured and supplied to the warehouse, which indicates a variable lead time.
Important: The delivery time (e.g., 24-hour shipping) is in addition to our shipping time, which can be up to 9 days for ants, for a maximum total of 10 days. Additional delays may occur outside the European Union due to customs formalities.
Important: For their safety, we do not ship ants when the temperature is above 29°C or below 5° C, either when leaving Grenoble or upon arrival at your address. We will hold your order and care for the ants until the temperature allows for shipment. For faster express shipping or shipping with insulated packaging, please contact us.
Technology and ecology:
Our order pickers use state-of-the-art IT tools for fast and error-free order preparation. Your order is packed in recyclable cardboard, cushioned with paper, and sealed with starch-reinforced paper tape. The entire process is filmed for complete traceability.
The package is then stamped, and the carriers' trucks arrive around 3 p.m. to collect the day's shipments. We ship the majority of in-stock orders (except for ants) the same day if we receive them on time.
