Storage at La Fourmilière:
All our products are stored in a warehouse in France, organized like an ultra-optimized anthill. The products are identified and recorded in a state-of-the-art computer system (also used by La Fnac) and stored in cells chosen according to their dimensions. The web store is then up to date with the stock actually available. The warehouse is closed to the public and under video surveillance. The ants are in our breeding lab in Grenoble and the stock is regularly updated.
Shipping time to worldwide:
- Material in stock: shipped within 24 hours
- Ants : carefully prepared, fed, packaged and shipped within 2 to 9 days (urgent need? Contact us)
- Material “to order” : must be manufactured and supplied to the warehouse, which indicates a variable lead time.
Important: The delivery time (example: 24-hour transport) is added to our shipping time which can be up to 9 days for ants, or 10 days in total maximum. Additional delay is possible outside the European Union due to customs formalities.
Please note: For their safety, we do not ship ants above 29°C and below 5° C, either from Grenoble or upon arrival at your home. We keep your order on hold and take care of the ants until the temperature allows for shipment. For faster shipping by express or insulated packaging, please contact us.
Technology and ecology:
Our order pickers use the best IT tools for rapid, error-free order preparation. Your order is packaged in recyclable cardboard, backed with paper and closed with starch-reinforced paper tape. The entire process is filmed for total traceability.
The package is then franked and the carrier trucks arrive around 3 p.m. to collect the day's shipments. We ship the majority of in-stock orders (except ants) the same day if we receive it on time.
