Healthy, tender and natural wild dandelion seeds for young ant colonies. Our seeds are extremely popular with seed-eating ants. They have the advantage of being tender and nutritious and are recommended to facilitate the growth of young colonies. They can complement a fine seed mix.
These wild dandelion seeds are therefore often recommended by breeders for young ant colonies, but also by turtle breeders and gardeners who can grow their own dandelions. Once sown, our dandelion seeds grow into a healthy plant that tortoises love.
A healthy and natural choice: we collect our seeds in uncultivated areas that receive no pesticides or fertilizers, and far from cities.
Our seeds are collected by hand , dandelion by dandelion, then cleared of the parachutes to avoid waste. They are also guaranteed free of parasites (by freezing).
In addition, our price is about three times cheaper than that of garden centers (3 euros for 1 gram against 1.10 euros per gram in a large bag)!
Did you know ? It is a plant of great interest. For ants, the seeds represent a supply of quality food that is easily assimilated. The plant also shelters insects which also come to take refuge there: beetles and Sphinx butterflies in particular. The Dandelion is a treasure of health and flavors, the leaves are eaten in vinaigrette, the flower buds in vinegar like capers, or the roots in different forms for their virtues.
