Description

Thanks to a dozen different Messor seeds, this ultra-complete Messor food comes as close as possible to the diversity that Granivorous Ants find in nature.

We add 15% of the highest quality chopped crickets (food-grade and therefore strictly controlled), which have an extremely high protein content (around 80%!). The small size of the cricket pieces allows ants to consume them as easily as seeds.

The result is a powerful blend to boost your colony, encourage the appearance of large major worker bees, and accelerate the growth of your colony.

The most complete and protein-rich mix! Suitable for small colonies as well as large ones.

This 100% organic Messor food, presented in a 100g bag, contains the following seeds (may vary depending on the batch):
– White quinoa
– Red quinoa
– Alfalfa
– Red clover
– Whole sesame
– Radish
– Millet
– Amaranth
– Red cabbage
Chervil
– Turnip
– Tapioca
– Parsley
– Guaranteed presence of 15% chopped crickets.

Simply give your ants one or two spoonfuls of Messor seed to allow them to build up a store (or more, depending on the size of the colony). A seed reserve in an anthill can last for weeks or months, and one packet will replenish several stores.

You will notice that the ants will store their seeds in a generally dry area of the artificial anthill. Then, they will chew some seeds for several days. Their saliva makes the seed edible.

Caution: during the first few weeks in the ant farm, give only a few Messor seeds to the ants to avoid them being exposed to moisture by the ants who are still unaccustomed to their new nest.
