Our hydrophilic clay in the form of granules is a natural material with interesting properties to meet the needs of your ants. This clay is ideal for maintaining high humidity in the terrarium-type nests and hunting areas of your tropical colonies. Its hydrophilic characteristics allow for efficient water absorption and gradual release, creating a stable and healthy environment for your ants. The clay changes color depending on its humidity level, providing convenient visual monitoring. Ants can also use the pieces of clay to build their galleries and strengthen their nests, thus promoting natural and enriching behavior ) observe.
Composition: 100% natural clay granules. Granules of 3 to 5mm on average.
Usage tips :
- Gently moisten in advance and place the clay at the nest entrance to moisten the nest and help the ants build.
- Sprinkle lightly with water until completely absorbed when the clay begins to dry and lighten.
