Here is our 50w E27 ceramic bulb for optimal development of your anthill and sustained activities.
Indeed, a temperature of 27°C is recommended during the day.
Our ceramic heating bulb with E27 base and 50w power which heats up without lighting is the most practical and aesthetic way to obtain this temperature. It adapts to any flexible lamp with E14 base supporting this power.
It will suffice to gradually bring the lamp closer to the anthill by following the instructions provided until the desired temperature is obtained, for 1 to 2€ of electricity per month. The use of a thermostat becomes unnecessary in the majority of cases.
This 50w ceramic bulb eliminates condensation and preserves sightings. It provides the heat that the ants need, even in the damp area, without lighting them up so as not to stress them.
Its power of 50w is a good compromise which avoids placing the bulb too close to the nest, while being sufficient for homogeneous heat.
Heat gain: from +6 to +18°C at 10cm distance depending on conditions.
Lifetime estimated at 20,000 hours compared to only 1,000 hours for an incandescent or halogen bulb!

Attention ! Monitor the temperature closely with a thermometer for several hours, preferably before setting up the ants, to ensure a suitable peak temperature. Start by placing the bulb several tens of centimeters from your animals in order to measure the temperature gradually!
