Our 50W ceramic heating bulb with an E27 base, which heats without emitting light, is the most practical and aesthetically pleasing way to achieve this temperature. It fits any flexible E14 bulb that supports this wattage.

Simply move the lamp closer to the anthill, following the instructions provided, until you reach the desired temperature, for a cost of €1 to €2 in electricity per month. In most cases, a thermostat becomes unnecessary.

This 50W ceramic bulb eliminates condensation and preserves observation. It provides the warmth ants need, even in humid areas, without emitting light to avoid stressing them.

Its 50w power is a good compromise which avoids placing the bulb too close to the nest, while still being sufficient for even heat distribution.

Heat gain: from +6 to +18°C at a distance of 10cm depending on conditions.

Estimated lifespan of 20,000 hours compared to only 1,000 hours for an incandescent or halogen bulb!
