Refillable tube – Progressive slab – 18x180mm

Description

Tube refillable in water, reusable and Made in France in a thick and quality glass. Many improvements make it possible to raise a small colony over the long term with a better success rate than classic tubes or Chinese tubes with poor humidity management and random composition.

The progressive slab: present over the entire length of the tube, it diffuses humidity gradually. This allows the ants to live on a natural stone support and choose the desired humidity level according to their position. Gives excellent results on most species!

The recurring problems with the tubes that we tested are: static electricity, a water refill system but insufficient autonomy (sand reserve) and dried up dead ants, too fragile foams or moldy cotton, water leaks, tubes too small for Messor etc.

Attention: More economical than the over-armored tube because less resistant to Messor, no metal grid. However, a colony raised from the start in this tube is unlikely to attack it. Does not have compartments.

Manual :

Install the queen or the colony in the tube with water reserve. Plug the end with a cotton ball to let the air circulate. Tighten well so that ants do not attack it. After about 1 year, if needed, order our special syringe to refill it with water and close the entry hole with tape or use our refilling service. Attention: only works if the tube is dry and using the Scotch crystal reference.
