The Small Habitat Module Model 1 is the ideal complement to the Quadricity

A veritable miniature ant farm in its own right, this module features 7 chambers, 2 humidification wicks, and 4 partitioned connecting holes. It bolts onto the Quadricity ant farm to expand the ants' living space.

The ants will then be able to move freely from one to the other, without interfering with other colonies that you might be raising at the same time in another part of the Quadricity.

It is possible to place up to 4 Small Modules around the Quadricity.

Each Small Housing Module adds 7 large rooms to your Quadricity and allows you to increase the maximum population by approximately 900 Lasius workers or 300 Messor workers.

 

The Small Habitat Module Model 1 is a fully-fledged Artificial Anthill.

It can also be used alone to raise a young colony and grow with other Housing modules, in addition to one or more Food modules.

Its design does not differ in any way from our artificial ant farm Fourmiculture :

– Rooms with mineral soil for biological balance,

-Design made of durable, removable and cleanable Plexiglas,

– Intelligent connection system with “Open” and “Closed” position partitions on each side of the module.

– Patented 3rd generation humidification system, efficient and reliable.

– Replaceable mineral humidifier to regain the cleanliness of new after successful breeding.

– Chambers designed to suit all species, slightly more spacious than those of the Quadricity to suit large colonies.

– Adaptable chamber height (original: 8mm. 12mm optional).

Its revolutionary and patented humidification system allows you to choose to humidify 0%, 50% or 100% of its surface and with immense autonomy thanks to its water tanks.

A transparent water tank is included with your Small Living Module Model 1.

Durable and Repairable: Your Small Living Module is eco-designed to last longer than any other. We put our heart and soul into its design and manufacture using quality materials, machined according to best practices.

Removable and cleanable: Almost no parts are stuck. The entire Module is simply bolted on for easy wet cleaning or replacement of wear parts.

Spare parts: The mineral humidifier is replaceable, ensuring clean and healthy chambers. It's ideal to replace it after more than a year of breeding. The glass is also replaceable, restoring its original transparency if scratched. Partitions, blocks, lids—all parts are available online or upon request.

Innovative in materials: The humidifier is made from materials of vegetable and mineral origin. It will degrade without polluting residues after disposal.

The other components are not meant to be discarded quickly and have therefore been designed to last as long as possible. The use of Plexiglas, a high-quality material manufactured in Germany from natural gas, provides a virtually indestructible structure. It can, however, be disposed of by incineration with minimal pollution, or it can be recycled.

Made in France: The Small Residential Module is manufactured in our workshop located in the Alps. It contains no parts or even raw materials of non-European origin.
