Description

Anti-escape coating 10ml for artificial anthills. Works mainly on glass.

Contents : 10ml (Undiluted enough for approx. 10 meters of 20mm wide tape)

Description : the fluon nti-escape for ants is the ideal protection for ants, used even by Hölldobler and Wilson as protection against ant escapes. It is applied undiluted, so that the ants glide over the remaining film. The film applied is durable and does not need to be renewed unlike other alternatives.

Advantage :
– No renewal is necessary if it is not damaged or exposed to humidity, does not wear like talc and does not stick like oil.
– Ideal for glass surfaces.

Disadvantage:
– Not suitable for enclosed hunting areas with high humidity as fluon is water soluble.
– Less effective on plastic surfaces.
– Easier to apply before the ants arrive because it may be necessary to turn the nest so that the wall is flat during drying.

Application : Shake well before use. Fluon is used in the supplied form or diluted up to 1:10 with water. Fluon can be applied with a brush, or by pouring a small amount to spread. The width of the strip should be about 3 times the length of the ants. Drying time is approximately 45 minutes per side, but can vary depending on how thick something is. Apply in a single pass per wall, it is better to apply a little thicker pass and not go back to it. Possibility of applying a strip of masking tape for a clean finish. See photo below.

Important Note: Do not breathe vapors during drying. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and consult a doctor. No smoking nearby. Apply only in well-ventilated areas. Keep out of reach of children! At freezing temperatures, fluon changes its consistency irreversibly. Therefore, we will only ship at temperatures above 0°C!
