Fungus Atta cephalotes

Description

Symbiotic mushroom compatible with Atta. This cutting, made up of at least 1 cubic cm of live mushroom, taken from the best parts of our colony, can help you revive a colony in poor condition. It can contain a few small garden workers easily adopted by your colony.

The mushroom should be slightly green in color. A lumpy and brown or maroon fungus may indicate a weak fungus.

Tip: Never expose it to dry air, the fungus dies below 90% humidity. On the other hand, liquid water kills it. Place it in your breeding system with your queen and then cover it with a small upturned pot, with a damp cotton ball inside. Thus, a favorable microclimate will be created and the air will be humid.
