This refillable and reusable Made in France breeding tube is a professional quality alternative to existing tubes. It allows to raise a colony of ants from the queen and up to a few dozen workers in improved conditions. With a very natural appearance, this tube is ideal for providing reassuring conditions similar to the first tunnels dug by the queen in nature.

The living and growing conditions of the ants are superior thanks to regulated humidity and a natural resin-free material. As soon as the workers are born, it is possible to connect the tube to a hunting area in order to let them explore and bring back food. For this, it is equipped with a magnetic system compatible with the future Magneto Pro 9 range. Also backwards compatible with all hunting areas and anthills with a 9mm and 16mm connection hole.

This breeding tube is particularly suitable for small and medium-sized species, from Lasius and Pheidole to Messor and Camponotus (foundation up to 20 to 40 workers maximum).

Manual :

• Fill the reservoir using the needleless syringe provided. Close the hole hermetically with the plug provided. The highly absorbent concrete will dampen within minutes and become habitable.
• Add a little water approximately every 15 days. Opening the plug creates a draft and allows the concrete to re-wet.
• Close the outer hole with the synthetic wadding provided if the tube is not connected to a hunting area.
• Once a population of around twenty workers has been reached, it is possible to move them to an anthill. The tube can be cleaned by filling it with water and baking soda, and reusable.
