Our 40W E14 ceramic heating bulb, which heats without emitting light, is the most practical and aesthetically pleasing way to achieve this temperature. It fits any flexible E14 lamp that supports this wattage.
Simply move the lamp closer to the anthill, following the instructions provided, until you reach the desired temperature, for a cost of €1 to €2 in electricity per month. In most cases, a thermostat becomes unnecessary.
The bulb eliminates condensation and preserves observations. It provides the heat the ants need, even in the humid area, without shining light on them to avoid stressing them.
Its 40w power is a good compromise which avoids placing the bulb too close to the nest, while still being sufficient for even heat distribution.
Heat gain: from +6 to +18°C at a distance of 10cm depending on conditions.
