Small Quadricity Model 2 special housing module

Description

The Small Housing Model 2 is the ideal complement to the Quadricity.

A veritable little anthill in its own right, this module has 7 chambers, 2 humidification wicks and 4 partitioned connection holes. It bolts to the Quadricity Anthill to expand the living space of ants.

The ants will then be able to move freely from one to the other, without interfering with the other colonies that you could raise at the same time in another part of the Quadricity.

It is possible to place up to 4 Small Modules around the Quadricity.

Each Small Housing Module adds 7 large rooms to your Quadricity and increases the maximum population by approximately 900 Lasius workers or 300 Messor workers.

Example of installation on a Quadricity Model 2 completed with 1 Small Power Supply Module, 3 Small Residential Modules, 1 Large Power Supply Module and 2 Large Residential Modules:

A full-fledged Artificial Anthill.

It can also be used alone to raise a young colony and grow with other Housing modules, in addition to one or more Food modules.

Its design does not differ in any way from our artificial anthills:

– Rooms with mineral soil for biological balance,

- Unalterable, removable and cleanable Plexiglas design,

– Intelligent connection system with “Open” and “Closed” position partitions on each side of the module.

– Patented 3rd generation humidification system, efficient and reliable.

– Replaceable mineral humidifier to regain the cleanliness of new after successful breeding.

– Chambers designed to suit all species, a little more spacious than those of the Quadricity to suit large colonies.

– Adaptable chamber height (original: 8mm. 12mm optional).

Its patented humidification system allows you to choose to humidify 0%, 50% or 100% of its surface and with immense autonomy thanks to its water tanks.

A transparent water tank is offered with your Module.

 

Durable and Repairable.

Your Small Housing Module is eco-designed to last longer than any other. We put all our heart into it during its design and manufacture in quality materials, machined according to the rules of the art.

Removable and cleanable.

Almost no parts are glued. The entire Module is simply bolted on for easy wet cleaning or replacement of wear parts.

Detached pieces :

– The mineral humidifier is replaceable and allows you to find healthy and clean rooms. Ideal to replace after more than one year of breeding. The glass is also replaceable to regain the transparency of the first day in case of scratches. Partitions, Blocks, Covers, all parts are available online or on request.

 

Innovative in materials:

The humidifier is made from materials of plant and mineral origin. It will degrade without polluting residues after disposal.

The other parts are not supposed to be thrown away quickly and have therefore been designed to last as long as possible. The use of Plexiglas, a quality material made in Germany from natural gas, provides an almost unalterable structure. It is however possible to eliminate it by incineration with little pollution, or to recycle it.

 

French made :

The Small Housing Module is manufactured in our workshop located in the Alps. It does not include any part or even raw material whose origin is not European.
