These carbohydrate-rich jellies are appreciated by omnivorous ants such as Lasius, Pheidole, Camponotus, Iridomyrmex, etc. (not suitable for granivorous species).
They are ideally supplemented with proteins (fresh insects, sweetened protein powder, honey milk, etc.)
Easy to use.
NB: Flavors vary according to stock.
Composition: Water 58%, sugar, fructose 22%, fruit juice, seaweed extract, Glycine 0.5% (amino acid).
Additives: citric acid, sodium citrate, natural flavors and food colorings.
Protein: 2%, fat 0%, fiber 0%, Vit A. 0.2mg/kg, Vit C 0.5mg/kg.
Conservation :
– More than a year closed
– 5 to 7 days maximum in the refrigerator once opened.
– Ant jelly can be frozen and thawed in small pieces to distribute once at room temperature.
