These conditions should be read before ordering in order to know our conditions and your rights, they apply to any order placed with our company.

This means that we do everything reasonably possible to satisfy our customers by offering the guarantees and services mentioned below:

Guarantee on the Health of Ants and their Transport:

We put our experience at your service to guarantee the good health of the colonies throughout our breeding and until delivery, as evidenced by our charter visible on each page concerning a colony for sale.

The arrival of healthy ants at the destination is guaranteed as follows: if the queen does not survive the trip, another colony will be sent or a refund will be made (valid for any destination subject to delivery within 48 hours) .

A partial refund is possible if the colony has fewer workers at reception than mentioned.

The health of our ant colonies is guaranteed in the following way: we only ship colonies with brood (eggs, larvae or pupae), which proves that the queen is laying eggs and is healthy. We also check the absence of parasites.

Transport stress can sometimes cause the colony to lose brood. We therefore do not offer compensation in the event of a lack of brood.

Resumption of settlements with covered costs:

When you buy ants, you must subsequently avoid releasing them into the wild. If you wish to part with your breeding, contact us. We can cover your costs up to a limit of €6 in order to take it back from you, only for colonies purchased at a price higher than €10. The colony must reach us in good health.

Greater compensation is possible for a valuable colony (rare species or large number of workers) and must be discussed beforehand.

Guaranteed Delivered or Refunded:

Pay with Paypal any purchase on the Internet, if the seller does not ship your order, a full refund may be offered by Paypal!

Right of withdrawal: Satisfied or refunded up to 30 days

If your order does not suit you, please contact us within 30 days of delivery in order to return it to us according to the conditions below, it will be fully refunded or an exchange will be made.

– Shipping costs paid when ordering: Reimbursed within the limit of €10 and in the event that your entire order is returned.

– Postage paid to return the order: compensated within the limit of €10 on presentation of an invoice corresponding to the transport service (only the relay point or standard Colissimo is concerned). Compensation in the form of a voucher.

– The return must take place within 14 days of the decision to appeal to your right of withdrawal.

– Reimbursement or exchange can only be made if the product has not been damaged during return transport. Be sure to use the original packaging correctly to ensure product protection.

– We only take back products showing at most the slight traces of normal use after 30 days. We do not take back damaged, stained or scratched products and we reserve the right to refuse reimbursement or exchange if these conditions are not respected or will indicate the cost of repairing them.

– Reimbursement in the form of a voucher, Paypal transfer, bank transfer or personal check.

In case of damage upon receipt:

Following receipt of a damaged package, we undertake to replace or reimburse any product damaged by transport in the unique case where specific reservations are clearly mentioned on the delivery note (example: broken Plexiglas tray). You are entitled to unpack the package in the presence of the delivery person. In the event of an intact package on the outside and/or absence of reservations on the delivery note, we reserve the right to proceed with the compensation which we deem appropriate.

Price

The prices indicated are exempt from VAT (VAT not applicable, article 193 B of the CGI).

The shipping costs are calculated automatically and displayed in the basket before having to validate your order. Shipping costs are only indicative and an adjustment may be requested.

Shipping fees :

The cost of shipping is calculated automatically but is given for information only. We may charge you extra or give you a discount depending on the weight and size of your package once packed. Do not hesitate to contact us beforehand to confirm the shipping costs and to obtain an accurate rate from all carriers available in your region of the world.

Non-contractual photo :

The product delivered and the photos showing it may be different. We do our best to make representative photos but in particular in the event of rapid evolution of the model, decoration made by hand or other reasons, the final product may vary from the photographs.

Cancellation of an order:

You can request the cancellation and refund of an order before it is shipped or use your right of withdrawal afterwards (up to 14 days after or 30 days on the products reported).

Shipping terms and times

We do our best to ship your order within 24 to 48 hours of receipt of payment and inform you of any delays. However, any delay is given as an indication. Colonies are preferably shipped between Monday noon and Thursday noon.

Note: if you order a product for which the shipping time is 2 weeks and one for which the shipping time is standard (24/48h), your entire order will be shipped within 2 weeks.

Parcels sent on Saturday are only accepted by the Post Office from the following Monday.

Problem on delivery.

If you are not present during the passage of the postman or the carrier, this one will leave a transit advice note. Then be sure to go to the post office quickly to collect your package, with an identity document, or to be present at the next presentation of the package, otherwise the order will be returned to us. The second shipment of the package to your address would be at your expense.

Force majeure

The sending of the colonies can be postponed if we judge the temperatures or the conditions to be dangerous for your ants: risk of frost or high temperatures, transport strikes, etc.

Taxes and customs fees:

In some cases, additional costs may be required to receive your package outside the European Union. We are not responsible for these costs and advise you to inquire after your customs services to estimate them. They are in all cases your responsibility and must be paid to receive your package.

Comments

We are happy to receive comments from our customers concerning their order in the sheets of the products purchased or by e-mail if they contain photos or questions.

However, it must be understood that we must validate the comments ourselves because:

– Feedback is not intended to report a problem or ask a question as we cannot respond to feedback (any questions please email us)

– Comments should not mention sites other than ours,

– We can prevent a comment from appearing on the site if it does not respect the constraints indicated above or if it is written in French that is too difficult to read.

– We may periodically delete comments if their content is no longer relevant to the product. Example: the comment relates to an aspect of the product that has changed.

– It is possible that only part of your comment will be deleted in accordance with the points mentioned above. However, we will not edit your messages (except possibly regarding spelling).

– We reserve the right to translate your comments as accurately as possible so that English-speaking customers can benefit from your experience.

Personal data

The personal data that you must leave to place an order on our store will not be exchanged, sold or transferred to third parties. Your bank details are encrypted and protected by Paypal, and invisible even by Fourmiculture. Only your payment is sent to us.

Intellectual property

All images, videos, and texts on the site are the property of Yvain Samuel, legal manager of Fourmiculture.com (unless otherwise stated). Their use on another medium requires authorization. Any unauthorized use is liable to legal sanctions.
