The Happy Ant cork ant nest has been selected by Fourmiculture for the breeding of species with low humidity requirements such as Crematogaster and Camponotus. With its cork heart, it reproduces more natural breeding conditions and allows better development of these particular species.

The brand : Happy Ant was created in 2015 in the Czech Republic by Martin Kust, a partner of Fourmiculture. We have joined forces to offer its modular, affordable concept of a quality that meets our requirements. The Module is manufactured without 3D printing for a very qualitative finish.

Summary: The Cork Module is made up of a hexagonal plastic container bolted to a removable Plexiglas pane in which the cork plate is placed. The chambers formed inside will particularly appeal to wood-nesting species: it is a very good nest for Camponotus ligniperdus, Crematogaster scutellaris, Temnothorax nylanderi etc. The cork module measures 20cm and its hexagonal shape makes it very easily modular. It is compatible with the hunting areas of the same brand and is connected by a magnetic system, combined with the clips provided.

The plus: A red filter is offered for the comfort of the ants! With magnetic attachment.

Moisture: A little water can be added through the side holes. There is no species that can live completely without humidity. Feel free to bring a few drops of water, or connect a water tube. A drinker is also relevant to add, but does not replace humidification. Be moderate on water intake to keep the nest healthy.

Soon, a hydration module will be offered for greater autonomy.

Modular: the nest can evolve ad infinitum. We recommend adding a hunting area of ​​the same brand thanks to the intelligent linking system. You can also add other habitable modules on each side of the hexagon.
